We are located three miles south of Douglas, WY. We have a small herd of Red Polled Dexter Cattle. Our cattle have all the required testing and our entire herd is PHA and Chondro free.
Don and I started off with Horned and polled cattle- black and dun. Although we enjoyed our first cattle, we decided to change our breeding and have went to Red polled Dexter. We are almost there. Some of our cattle are A2A2, A1A2, A2N and Homozygous. The confirmation of our cattle are very important to us.
Our herd bull CJ’s Archie is very gentle and easy to handle. We have had great success with our breeding and all of Archie’s calves have won or placed very high in their classes when shown. All of our cattle are halter broke-we start halter breaking the calves when they are a couple of weeks old. We really enjoy working with our cattle as well as showing. We started showing our cattle two years ago and have enjoyed the shows. We have learned a lot and met a lot of very nice people. It has been a lot of fun and we plan to continue to show when we can.
